Workbee Linear rail ball screw nut adaptor (workbeast)

Designed this as a way to use a 1204 ballscrew with mgn15 linear rails on a workbee style CNC. With the larger ballscrew and linear rail, there is very little room fit a ballscrew nut so i had to design this up. Works great for the workbeast, should work for sphynx or workbee upgrade if you need it! Recommend to machine it, but may work in strong 3d print material? Let me know This is what I did: Make one of these adaptors for each ballscrew Get the workbeast plates you need (here is the y plate, but all axis are on thingiverse, use the mgn15 upgrades as the mgn12 needs a thinner ballnut adaptor I haven't designed ) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4651214 Buy the linear rails and lead screws. This person is great for everything you need. Get the rm1204 ballscrew at a length of 35mm longer than your axis (for 250mm z, order a 285mm). Get it with an A end and a B end (this is for a thread and clip end) Get the mgn-15 linear bearing the same length as your axis, and get 2x hgn15h carriages for each linear bearing https://www.ebay.com/str/linearmotionbearings Then you can just swap the end plates (if you have a leadachine without the tension), or leave the endplates the same (if you have the tension system). Then you need to buy a few adaptor pieces which krilano put together really nicely on which items you need, and instructions (this is only for a ballscrew conversion, the above items will also get you the linear rail conversion).
