Workbee Dust Shoe for Makita Router (with two skirt options)

This is a two part Dust Shoe solution for Workbee CNCs using a Makita router. The upper dust shoe is a simple design that easily clamps to a makita router with one 1/4-20 nut-n-bolt. No clamps needed. Vacuum port is designed for a 1-7/8" wet/vac hose. Quick to installation/removal at anytime. The lower shoe magnetically connects to the upper shoe using a quantity of 4: 6mm magnets at 3mm thick and quantity of 1: 8mm magnet at 3mm thick. Each magnet well includes a small cone-shaped well to hold the epoxy volume sandwiched between the shoe and each magnet. The first lower shoe is designed with a 1/4" wide (3/8" deep) trench on the underside to allow for assembling a bristle kit to the underside of the shoe. This option may be to stiff for some. As a result, I have a second show option below. The second lower shoe version (v2) does not include a trench but rather allows the maker to glue, or screw-on, a strip of vinyl or rubber (such as a bicycle tube) to the outter perimeter of the shoe. Note: 20%infill is best but 50% infill is recommended for the lower v2 shoe if you plan to screw in a skirt along the perimeter. Be sure to print the upper shoe with the magnet side downward touching the bed.. Print the lower side shoe with the magnet side downward touching the bed. If printing the lower shoe V2 model, then print the model with the magnet side facing up. I recommend you sand the side of the magnet to be used on the epoxy side for improved adhesion.
