Work Table Vice Handles

Work Table Vice Handles

I've got this table - Supercraft - and found it extremely helpful. Unfortunately, the handles for tightening/loosening the table/vice snapped off at some point and made using it a hassle. All that remained was the piece shown in image 2 above - small black broken pieces of plastic. So I measured and designed better handles that clip on, are much stronger, and also added a "sleeve" to make it easier to use. Objects were created in Sketchup and Sketchup files are included for modifications if needed. Print Settings Printer: Geeetech Full Metal Aluminum Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 35% Notes: Objects must be printed with support. Only the main handle requires support. The handle needs to be printed as shown in the build plate with supports to ensure strength and with an infill of >30%. I used 35% and it's very strong. Post-Printing After printing, clean up the model, rub some candle wax on the end part, slip the Outside handle part - the cylinder - over the handle and press fit.
