Work Table Vice Handles

Have this table - Supercraft - and found it very useful. However the handles for tightening/loosening the table/vice broke off some time ago and made using it a drag.

All that was left was the piece found in image 2 above - small black broken pieces of plastic.

So measured and designed better handles that clip on, are much stronger and also added a "sleeve" to aid use.

Objects were designed in Sketchup and Sketchup files included for modifications if needed.

Print Settings

Printer:

Geeetech Full Metal Aluminum

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

35%

Notes:

Objects must be printed with support. Only the main handle needs support. The handle must be printed as shown in the build palte with supports to ensure strength and with an infill of >30%. I used 35% and it is pretty strong.

Post-Printing =============
After printing, clean up model, rub some candle wax on the end part, slip the Outside handle part - the cylinder - over the handle and press fit.

Category: Hand Tools
