Low-income families have a lot to gain from technology's flexibility in work mode. Undereducated youth and women struggle with limited employment options, stuck in low-paying jobs due to a lack of diversification. The biggest obstacle for young people and families with dependents is the inflexibility of traditional work schedules. Stay-at-home mothers can seize opportunities in online businesses like O2O sales, freeing them from childcare duties while still earning a living. By creating new job opportunities, we can give more people a chance to advance their careers and improve their economic prospects, ultimately lifting families out of poverty.
