Word Clock Face
thingiverse
This was an attempt to create a compact word clock that fits snugly on a small 32mm 8x8 LED display screen. The clock's face layout is outlined in detail within a spreadsheet, and I developed the DXF file as a stencil template prior to creating two distinct models. One model focused on achieving clear stenciling results, while the other aimed for a solid first layer that would simplify letter shape formation despite the LED light still shining through. To assemble the clock, I printed the face upside down, allowing it to fit seamlessly onto the matrix with a push-fit design. A demo of this project can be viewed at: https://vimeo.com/152847272
