Word Clock Dais
prusaprinters

I made a dais for a word clock.

I'm not even sure why I designed it this way other than I had this inspiration to make something “fancy”, dare I say, Art Deco. It also helped that I still have some gold metallic filament. To be fair, this clock really does need some assistance to be “free standing” otherwise it's better off on the wall. Hence the need for the stand in the first place.

The stand will accommodate a “Sharper Image Word Clock” which can be had for relatively few currency units and can be found on offer from a range of retailers. The clock simply slides into the stand and sits with a comfortable 5 degree slant to the back.

Printing Notes

Print file was sliced for PETG and a .8mm nozzle.

Prints without supports and was designed to minimize filament usage and print time.
