Woody - PrintrBot Simple Acrylic enclosure

Woody - PrintrBot Simple Acrylic enclosure

thingiverse

A simple case for enclosing my PrintrBot 1401. Instructions I noticed that temperature shifts and other factors were affecting my prints, so I came up with this case, named Woody Woodpecker after the printer's wooden design. I tried to create a comprehensive case where all of my tools, power supply, filament, and more are contained within one enclosure. I added a power socket to control the power. Other features include components from Thingiverse: Spool Holder (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:17526), Extruder Motor fan mount (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:314273), Thermometer Holder (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:731976), Filament Filter (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:492067), Hinges (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:19522), z-axis knob (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:87175). I also used a door handle, fused socket, and adhesive rubber bumps. Future additions include a better spool holder and toolbox. Here are the dimensions: 2 x (35cmx40cm) 2 x (44cmx40cm) 2 x (35cmx44cm) The case is entirely made of 3mm acrylic.
