Depending on your location only the grip your sword came with and modern fencing grips are available. We wanted to change that. The grip comes in a version with a deep and a shallow slot of the blade and has a version that doesn't have the flat area for resting the thumb (see pictures). The grip should fit modern fencing sabres and HEMA sabres with a little bit of shaping. We recommend a high wall count, and if you wish to grind and shape your grips after printing, a higher infill density. This is a rather thick grip especially interesting for heavier blades. It might not be for people with small hands and styles that are meant to be fenced with small grips. (Working on an alternative) It's a modern/sporty design so even the version without the thumb rest might not be for people who want something that feels very historical. (Working on an alternative)
