To create a simple jig that helps drill an 8mm hole in the center of wood, use a skateboard bearing as a guide. Insert this bearing into the center hole so an 8mm drill can fit through it, allowing you to drill one hole in the middle of the wood or multiple holes to define a slot for a mortise and tenon joint. If needed, enlarge these 8mm holes with a larger drill bit. I utilized an 8mm flanged ball bearing race from Aliexpress or Banggood.
