This versatile board for chess or checkers folds in half and offers storage space for playing pieces. Each square of the board measures 45 mm (~1¾", or "executive size") on each side, making it ideal for a wide range of games. To fit within a 250x210-mm print bed, each quadrant of the board prints separately and connects to an adjacent quadrant using dovetail joints. Storage space is designed to be sufficient to easily contain at least 34 chessmen up to tournament size, plus 24 draughtsmen. Alternatively, it can store just the draughtsmen and a pair of dueling pistols for a more unique game experience. This design is also available as a public Tinkercad project.
