This project showcases how to build a model of a wooden wheel to educate people on water energy conversion. Using reclaimed wood materials adds an element of fascination as a garden feature. The electricity produced can power park lighting systems with low voltage - less than 40 V - making it safe for visitors. SketchUp free from Google can be used to view detailed images of the project's design phase. Initially, all components were built using a 20 cm wide and 25 mm thick wooden plank. However, this changed during prototype development, as did several other aspects, including the use of a 2-inch galvanized pipe for the shaft and a bicycle rim as the pulley. Shaft bearings made from palm wood (specifically ruyung) are used instead.
