Various standard-sized wooden trusses, Warren Style, are available. Each size is pre-packaged in groups of five for shipping purposes. These groups can be easily broken up to allow individual trusses to be used separately. All of our truss models are designed using nominal lumber that measures 2 inches by 4 inches. Upon inspection, each truss reveals an actual size that meets specific standards, measuring 1.75 inches by 3.5 inches in length. To add extra stability to these structures, connector plates made from metal mesh materials have been included with every model. There are several standard preformed models of wooden trusses offered by our company: The most compact option available measures eight feet in length and one foot six inches high. A longer alternative, measuring 8 feet by 2 feet high, offers greater versatility in design possibilities. Another choice, 12 feet in length by 2 feet high, allows designers to experiment with a wide range of configurations. The two largest options on our list include a 16-foot model that is also 2 feet tall and a twenty-foot option which has an identical height of 2 feet. Each type of truss was based upon designs using pine as the primary material. Please note that some additional considerations may need to be made for each truss model since the plates used contain pre-drilled holes that impact poly-counts and vertical placement capabilities in design programs.
