Wooden Train Brio Side Track
thingiverse
I'm designing a simple sidetrack with beech wood plate measuring 12x156x216mm. To create the groove, I'll use either a table saw or router. The shunting track itself is also 110 mm long, accommodating a longer locomotive. A beech rod with a diameter of 6mm will be used for this project. Unfortunately, these dimensions aren't optimized for 3D printing, so adjustments to the holes may be necessary before printing can take place. To maintain their wooden integrity, the round bars should remain untouched during the printing process. I came across an interesting train design on GrabCAD: https://grabcad.com/library/brio-train-engine-rc-1
