Wooden toy race car 3D model

Here's how I built the wooden toy race car: Using 3dsmax 2013 and rendered with V-Ray 2.40.03 is where it all started. I kept things simple - just a model with materials, no fancy lighting or cameras required. All my materials were created from scratch with V-ray 2.40.03 too. This little car measures 25 by 8.7 by 11 centimeters (9.8 x 3.4 x 4.3 inches) and is packed with a whopping 8942 polygons. You can get the files in max format, both for 2013 and 2010 versions, along with obj, fbx, and mat formats from V-ray. I even included some textures: you'll find a wooden toy car basis texture (900x636 pixels) that's about 160 KB big, a glazed version of it at 48 KB, the driver texture comes in both diffuse (40 KB) and glossy (27 KB) variations - and to round it off, there's a small wheel texture, also around 450 by 450 pixels and weighing in at 20 KB. Enjoy this toy car; I think it will add a great touch of class to any room you decide to place it in.
