Wooden Shelf

I designed this small woodgrain shelf to showcase my crawfish model and butterfly figurine. The entire shelf prints out in one piece, but it convincingly replicates the appearance of a shelf constructed from 16 individual wooden pieces arranged in a decorative pattern, supported by an integrated bracket made up of three additional pieces. If I had finished the pieces in an alternating pattern, I would have achieved a nice pinwheel or checkerboard design. Looking back, I realize that designing some of the pieces as separately printed inlays would have simplified this process.
