Wooden Railway Bridge Support
thingiverse
My two-year-old nephew loves playing with his wooden train set, which features a bridge and raised sections. The experience is thrilling, yet the elevated areas are notoriously fragile and prone to collapse at the slightest impact - a frequent occurrence when kids get excited or accidentally knock into them. Even I, as a responsible adult, can be guilty of causing unintentional damage. I engineered these support systems specifically to securely attach to the wooden track without obstructing train movement, thereby maintaining the structure's integrity even under intense play sessions. They work beautifully, allowing the entire setup to remain intact despite the most exuberant zooming by trains. These supports are designed to be highly customizable, allowing users to adjust settings as needed. For instance, variables affecting specific aspects of the design can be tailored according to individual preferences. However, I've found that my default settings work exceptionally well for me. If you decide to modify these settings, please let me know how they turn out!
