Wooden Prusa i3 Frame
thingiverse
A sturdy foundation for the prusa i3. The frame is constructed from birch plywood (9 and 15mm). My local hardware store cut the parts, ensuring they are reliable square and sized correctly. I assembled the pieces together using biscuits, a method that added unnecessary complexity to the project - no surprise there, considering my German heritage. The plans will be published soon as a downloadable pdf file. Just yesterday, I completed the build, and it's holding up rock solid, as you can see from the video below. This frame is an integral part of my Prusa i3 Master Rework project. For more of my Prusa i3 reworks, visit my Collection.
