Wooden Powerbank 18650 x6
thingiverse
Simple battery container, I utilize the laptop battery (six batteries inside) and one of three point seven to five volt USB chargers along with LCD monitor display state of charge and battery protection features. This design is suitable for three point seven voltage eighteen sixty fifty batteries. This unit is intended to be permanently fixed in place using superglue; other adhesives may also work. However, sanding and fitting may be necessary to ensure a proper fit. Caution must be exercised when soldering, as the plastic can melt on the positive side of the battery if not handled carefully. Additionally, limit your time spent soldering to avoid damaging the battery. The button is not easy to print; it's recommended to do four or eight buttons at once and allow them to cool down before printing the next layer. The electronics components are sourced from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221616408651?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT. The dragon yinyan design is a modified version of the original found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:847238. The batt_box_topV2 has been updated, and I am currently building a four-battery box that will be published soon.
