wooden Pineapple lamp (with STL)
thingiverse
After some web browsing, I came up with a fantastic idea for a pineapple-like wooden lamp to replace my Christmas star in the living room! I'm thrilled with how it turned out! For lighting, I chose an E14 socket and a LED bulb. The lamp is crafted from 4mm plywood. To build this project, you'll need to cut out several parts: * 2 upper rings * 1 lower ring * 12 rib 1s (each with 6 leaf pockets) * 12 rib 2s (each with 5 leaf pockets) * 24 leaf 1s * 24 leaf 2s * 24 leaf 3s * 24 leaf 4s * 48 leaf 5s To assemble the lamp, place the two upper rings and the lower ring around each other, alternating between rib 1 and rib 2. On each rib 1, arrange the leaves in this order: leaf 1, leaf 3, leaf 5, leaf 5, leaf 4, and leaf 2 (from top to bottom). On each rib 2, place the leaves like this: leaf 2, leaf 4, leaf 5, leaf 5, and leaf 3 (from top to bottom). If you'd like to print the lamp instead of building it, I can share the STL files for all the parts. Have fun with my project! I design all my projects in Solid Edge ST2 (or ST7) in 3D to get a better sense of how they'll look. From there, I create 2D drawings to cut out the parts using my Laser cutter.
