Wooden pendant light

This wooden pendant light has 29 laser cut segments glued in cone form, 3D printed PLA ring frame and self made 3D GUI10 socket. Three-arm hang lamp support optional. Wood material : 2.6-3mm thick plywood. Cut the 29 segments (reserve added) and arrange them flat in an arc. Some segments have straight, some have bent notches. Use this property to find a tight fit. The ends should be loose fit, because later we close the circle and it would be inconvenient to force or file it then. Apply wood glue on the notches only. Let it dry for an hour. In the meantime, 3D print the big ring. The glue is elastic yet and you can bend the cone and click it in the ring. Note that the ring has 29 straight sides too for exact fit. Glue the end notches, and the edges in the ring (also with wood glue). Put a properly sized pot on the cone to press and align it and let the glue set for hours. The GUI 10 socket has three 3D printed parts, plus the contacts. Cut 3 mm wide strip from 0.25mm brass plate, bend it in shape (must exactly follow the contact holder, see pics) and glue the ends with epoxy in the holder. Perhaps it is not a bad idea to put the lamp in the socket while the epoxy cures because it holds the brass contacts exactly in position. Solder the mains cable on the brass plate at the "S".
