Wooden iPad Case

Wooden iPad Case

thingiverse

A laser-cut wooden iPad case, inspired by folding wood booklets from SNIJLAB, is available on Thingiverse. The case design uses CorelDraw (V12 files are included), and it's recommended to be crafted from 3mm plywood. Experimentation with 3mm acrylic has also proven successful for a clear version. To assemble the case, cut one "cover" and two "inside parts" (one in 3mm and another in 4mm for iPad thickness). Sand, glue, and varnish as needed before adding elastic bands at corners to close the case. Be advised that the case secures the iPad with four ordinary elastic bands; any damage or drops resulting from its use are not the creator's responsibility.
