A chessboard project is currently in progress, with a final photo to be posted upon completion. The board features walnut and cherry wood, while hard maple separates the squares. Numerous cutting and gluing steps remain. The laser-cut drawer, fashioned from 1/8 and 1/4 birch plywood, represents a more straightforward approach in the creation process.
