Basic bench design has become quite straightforward. We have flat seats and horizontal supports at comfortable intervals that form a simple boxlike frame on which you sit down easily and move around freely on top. Simple rectangular cross-section beams, not tapered, are generally used for construction to support our body's full weight as we lean against it. They don't even need to be the same width or depth since uniform structural performance isn't necessary because we usually don't do anything too extreme like lifting really heavy stuff with our bench or anything. A lot of people actually prefer to build their own custom benches rather than buy something store-bought so they can save a little money. They use this opportunity to learn more about woodworking skills as well which is kind of fun I suppose because nobody likes doing nothing at all after a long hard day's work! However, you don't need prior knowledge in that department before making one either - simple measuring and cutting should do just fine when working with standard pre-made pieces from any nearby hardware store that also carry stuff related mainly used during assembly. Bench designs have been around for centuries now. We've had those fancy-schmancy garden benches for royal courts in medieval Europe as well which are very elegant-looking if I do say so myself! Some countries also incorporate different cultures by incorporating unique shapes like those seen commonly found throughout various parts of Asia which often have such an intriguing blend going on with their aesthetics - yet again this isn't something only possible through store-bought materials alone since most people choose homemade creations made primarily out materials gathered from nature.
