Wooden Ball Toy - 1 Ball
thingiverse
My grandfather carved two different variations of this, and this one is the simpler version. It was carved sometime in the 1930s and features three balls of decreasing size. A more complex version has a similar design but with additional details. I've searched online and haven't found anything quite like it, but ball-in-box carvings have been around for many years. Here's an example: wikihow.com/whittle-a-ball-in-a-cage. Please let me know if you have any feedback on this model. I'm working on the more complex version, which should be completed soon. To print this design, supports are needed to hold the ball in place. Since I haven't printed it myself, please print at your own risk.
