A mechanical watch with a difference. This watch is designed to combine the cool open skeleton movement with an easy-to-read display. The time is displayed using sun and moon symbols, which travel around the top half of the watch face, highlighting the hour numbers. The minutes are shown on the inside of the hours, continuing around the full circle of the face. The focus on aesthetics results in a simple, elegant design that wouldn't look out of place in formal settings or everyday use. The lightly brushed steel front bezel contrasts nicely with the black-stained high polished wood case. A spring steel core leather strap with a mushroom-shaped 'hook' and keyhole slots makes for an easy, clutter-free attachment. However, it's essential to have a 24-hour movement for the sun and moon effect to work correctly. The watch is based on the Tourby Unitas 6498 Art Deco model, but the gearing ratios and placements may need adjustments.
