Honestly, this experiment pushed the limits of how much new plastic could convincingly resemble old wood. To craft the model, I utilized actual 2D photographs of wood grain, converting them into 3D formats, extruding each layer, and merging them seamlessly into the main vase design as a distinctive "hole" in Tinkercad. The outcome exceeded my expectations. This creation was brought to life using SUNLU's high-quality wood filament and subsequently enhanced with a rich mahogany gel stain, accurately capturing the character of aged wood.
