Wood strip cutter
thingiverse
A versatile hand tool designed for cutting small pieces of wood strips with precision. Ideal for crafting intricate details in balsa model airplanes, ships, or other similar projects. The tool utilizes standard utility blades, which can be easily swapped out when they become dull. To assemble the tool, start by securing a M3 screw and a lock nut together as a hinge mechanism. Next, fasten the blade into place by inserting a 3M nut into the nut-trap and then tightening it with a screw from the opposite side. Mount the tool to a sturdy piece of hardwood using four small wood screws, as depicted in the accompanying images. Finally, add a rubber band for added stability.
