Using this tool is straightforward. Simply try to slide the shaft of the screw effortlessly through the gap; if it doesn't move freely or easily drop into the circular hole, then the screw belongs in a size larger than what you have. This handy device will quickly sort mixed collections of screws found in many home drawers or in the ubiquitous "screw jar".
