“An evil Warlock she had to be”, the villagers decided the moment she arrived at the village, led by superstition and ignorance. Those malicious thoughts were born when they saw her cart full of books and plants, and discovered her autonomy and independence. They concluded that she must have been linked to demonic beings. One night, she helped a man who had cut his leg with an unknown ointment of her own creation. Even though the man healed without problems, it was deemed as an act of demonic magic, so she was publicly sentenced and put to death. They buried her in an unmarked grave in a dry place and a few days later a sprout appeared on the heap of dirt covering her tomb, which over the years became a peculiar tree, where a path was formed in its center, a path that led to the bottom of the tomb.
