For a bit of fun, check out this model from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:776705), which also has an accompanying video (https://vimeo.com/121161889). The creation features wood, bolts, nuts, and colorful strings. It was designed in Solidworks 2015 and rendered using Simlab Composer 6 Mechanical Edition. Frames were edited with Virtualdub and saved as AVI/X264 and BMP before being remuxed to MP4 with MyMP4BoxGui. Gifs were created with GifApp, while renders were edited with IrfanView. The ZIM file can be viewed on both iOS and Android devices using the free Simlab Viewer app. The model is available in a variety of formats, including Solidworks 2015, Simlab Composer 6, DAE, STEP, IGES, STL, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, and ZIM.
