Wood Grain Rocker

Sorry, that drawing method is quite inefficient, causing steam to rise from OpenSCAD. I've scaled non-uniformly in the slic3r application (files appended a) rather than OpenSCAD, unsure if it will print or produce a realistic wood grain effect. Please fiddle with the SCAD file; you may want to increase $fn if you're still young and have years left. Allow the base paint to dry. Apply contrasting tone and drag and rock tool through wet paint to create a wood grain effect. We'll see how it goes. Good luck! Ty Harness April 2019 Update: Things that seem impossible will print and work in PLA material - I'm fairly pleased with the results. However, I found the scaled print no better than the original. A handle is needed, but I'll add that for the MK 2 version. Version 2a - full-size STL file: Comb-edging with different pitches on each side; I'm unsure of the effect yet. Additionally, a small handhold has been added. It's not a nice handle, but it serves as a permanent brim, which helps with printing and avoiding the sacrificial brim. Version 2b - 1/2-scale STL file.
