Wood Dungeon Door - Hinged, Open/Closed, & Slide In
thingiverse
This is a wooden door for your dungeon. A print in place version with working hinges and an opened and closed version are available if you prefer not to deal with print in place hinges. The two split versions can be printed flat and glued together. I've experienced varying success with the print in place hinges, which seem to depend on the type of filament used (in my case, PLA). I tried it with several different brands/types of PLA and adjusted the gap to accommodate all of them. Simply take your time loosening them, a gentle wiggle back and forth 5-10 times is usually enough. However, results may vary. You can find inspiration in [Dungeon Door - Open and Closed](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2771741) by bbzed and Dungeon Game's Working Door by dazzlesp. **Update:** Additional options have been added, including a print in place hinge version with a separate arch to be assembled after printing (this could involve splitting the arch into two pieces and gluing them together or using supports). A slide in door version is also available to save filament - this way, you don't need to print an extra frame for a closed door. **Update 2:** Following LiquidAvatars' suggestion, I added a door without an arch and a base to hold it together. The included base can be flipped over and a tile inserted underneath it; use glue and provided pins to secure it in place. You may want to use a brim on the pins.
