Wood chopping axe Low-poly 3D model
cgtrader
The model you see currently is a chopping axe. It is a great tool for chopping logs and heads (if you're a crazy person, so am I). The model is made so that it has been used a lot, you can see the wood has some scratches and starts to become darker with time, and the blade starts to be rusty. By buying the asset, you'll get access to two types of model. A classic one, and a game-ready one. -The classic one is a sudbivision-ready asset, meaning you can add an unlimited number of subdivision without destroying the model (but you might break your computer), with an increasing level of detail if you prefer to have a closer look of the model. Above, you can see multiple wireframe views, respectively without sudbivision, with a level 1 subdivision, and a level 2 subdivision. Without subdivision, the model has 728 faces. You can also remove some edge loops if you really want to have your model on point and as optimized as possible. -The game-ready one is a ultra-light version of the model, optimized for video games or in 3D scenes where the polycount has to be as low as possible. This one has 295 faces. The model comes with 2 different sets of textures. One set is for the classic model, and the other one is for the game-ready asset. Each set comes with 4096x4096, 2048x2048, 1024x1024 and 512x512 textures. Diffuse, Roughness, Normal, Metallic, AO, and Height. Here are the different formats : .obj (with its .mtl file), .fbx, .stl, .3ds and .abc . You also have a .blend file with the asset, so you can have access to the node settings, and the scene used to make the renders. The model has been created in Blender 2.79 and rendered in Cycles, textured in Substance Painter, and some post-process has been done in the Blender Compositor. Please note : This model is not printable. Don't expect it to work, I strongly advise you not to purchase the model if you intend to print it, as it could end with unexpected results. If you have any question, recommandation, or if you're in trouble, feel free to send me a message so I can help you out. Good chopping!
