Wood chisel sharpening guide

<p>I wanted to made my own sharpening guide getting inspiration form the ones available on the market, several designs I found on internet and the one I built some years ago with pieces of wood and furniture rolls that wasn't so accurate</p><p>I started from the list of chisels I have in my workshop and designed a guide compatible with all of them including a planer blade. Idea was to don't have to dismount and do a lot of adjustment when changing chisel size and/or sharpening angle</p><p>Chisel sizes from 6mm to 35mm width and up to 6mm thickness / Planer blade 42.5mm width</p><p>The chisel is secured on the guide by a screw and centered with 2 removable spacers. Spacer sizes are calculated based on the chisel size width (e.g. 16mm or 25mm)</p><p>I printed it with Prusament PLA. For better strength I set 3 perimeters and 25% 3D honeycomb infill for base, fixing plate and roll</p><p>All screws are standard one you can find on the market (M5 and M6)</p><p>Tested and working fine with 15mm and 25mm width chisels with 25°and 30° angles</p><p>On top of .stl and .3mf files I uploaded Fusion 360 .f3d one so you can modify the design and adapt it to your needs</p><p>Next step will be made a jig to easily and to precisely place the chisel to always have the right sharpening angle (20° / 25° / 30°…), adapt guide to bedan sharpening and why not replace removable spacers by adjustable one</p><p>As usual, feedback and comments (and for sure "likes") will be always welcome.
