Looks like my design of a set of drawers took an unexpected turn. In a world where most things are designed to follow conventional lines, it's sometimes refreshing to break away with something truly unique and completely different - that still provides a practical solution. 'Wonky Drawers' do just that. They look very cool, and most people's immediate reaction is "I want one of those" so they'll make a great gift. Apart from looking 'different', they are still a functional set of drawers for small things. Each of the five drawers has a unique size and shape, however they all have a depth of 44mm (inside front to back). They provide a decent amount of storage space, making them perfect for small parts, toys, jewelry, hobby/craft things and much more - plus they're fun and decorative so can easily become a conversation starter. 'Wonky Drawers' are easy to print but do take time due to their size. At standard scale, the frame measures approx. 76mm (W) x 165mm (H) x 50mm (D). The back of the frame has been left open to reduce print time and filament consumption - however this also means the drawers can be pushed out from behind if necessary. There are also designed-in drawer stops across the rear top edge of each drawer slot, so the drawers won't push through and out the back. Each of the drawers features a small handle that has been designed to print in PLA without support on machines with a filament fan (i.e. The angle should be printable for most machines). The handles have a recess/hollow inside and are wide enough to make them easily hooked by a finger nail, and the drawers should slide open with minimal effort as the drawer-to-frame clearances have been set to ensure they'll slide well regardless of the type of machine or slicing app used. Because 'Wonky Drawers' are a bit quirky, feel free to get creative with colors if you have a range of filament available - but if not, they still look great with the frame one color and drawers in a second color.
