Anyone with a 2020 aluminium rail can use this tool by first adjusting their X axis, and then if desired, also adjusting their bed. X Axis Levelling: Use an example setting on your Digital Caliper, which was set to 10mm in my photo; leave it at this and adjust your x axis accordingly. You may need to alter the measurement if you have a different printer than a Wombot. First, level your X axis very slowly, lowering it in 0.1mm increments. Be careful not to damage anything. If you're finding that one side is different from the other, disable your Stepper motor and adjust up or down so the end of the Caliper just touches the Aluminium frame; check both sides two or three times. Don't forget to disable the stepper motor while making each adjustment. Bed Levelling: Next, move this tool to one end of your bed and attach it above one side, ensuring it's fully seated on the 2020 aluminium. Adjust your X axis up or down so the end of the Digital Caliper comes to rest just touching the bed; use a scrap of paper to prevent damaging the bed surface if needed. Slowly move the bed while holding the Caliper and bed together in place. If it starts to bind, stop and tighten the bed screw on the close side to the Calipers. If it frees up again, proceed with adjusting the full width of the bed. Repeat this process for both sides, making adjustments as needed. Double-check your bed two or three times; you'll be amazed at how much difference it makes. To avoid overtightening the screw, simply make sure it's firm but not loose. List of extra parts needed for the tool: 1. 4mm bolt, 10mm long 2. 4mm washer 3. 4mm nut Happy levelling; with your X axis and bed setup properly, you should get the result you're looking for. Don't forget to readjust your Z-offset again as it will likely be out of alignment after making these adjustments. Bring the extruder down so it just touches a piece of paper, then add or subtract the difference from what you have currently. P.S. Remember to press "Store Memory" once finished altering the Z-offset.
