Anyone with X Axis of 2020 aluminium rail can use this tools, adjusting first your X axis, then if you like you can also adjust your bed as well. X Axis Levelling: I've find it best to just use an example setting on the Digital Caliper my was set at 10mm in the photo, leave it set at this and move your x axis to suit. (You might need to alter the measurement if you have a different printer other than a Wombot.) First I level my X axis very slow lowering it in 0.1mm increments, (Don't blame me if you damage anything). LOL be careful please. If you're different on each side, disable the Stepper motor and screw up or down to suit so the end of Caliper just touch the Aluminium frame. Check both side to 2-3 times. (Don't forget to disable the stepper motor while making adjustment each time.) Bed Levelling: Next move this tool so it at one end of your bed, attach it above one side of the bed (add the Key as well as this ensure it is fully on the 2020 aluminium) adjust the X axis up or down so the end of the Digital Caliper comes to rest just touch the bed, even use a scrap of paper so you don't damage your bed surface. Slowly move the bed if you have paper under the tip of Caliper hold it and the bed together, if it starts to bind up, STOP and tighten the bed screw on the close side to the Calipers, if you find it has free up, proceed the full width of the bed, if it bind up again, do the same procedure. Next swap sides, (if the tools doesn't fit make adjustment to the bed, by lowering it down via the bed screws) then bring the bed back up so it touches the underside of Caliper end, check across bed the same as you did on the other side, and make adjustments. Double check the bed 2 - 3 times as you'll be amazed the other side has change and might need to be raised. Anyway it should help those out who own Digital Calipers and have sometime set aside to calibrate their X Axis and bed properly within 5 - 10 minutes. Also make sure to not overtighten the screw, just need to be firm and not loose. List of extra parts you need for the tools 1./ 4mm bolt 10mm long 2./ 4mm washer 3./ 4mm nut Happy levelling, hope you get the result you're looking for with your X axis and bed setup properly. Note You will probably need to readjust your Z - offset again as I'm sure it will be out for sure now, bring the extruder down so it just touches a piece of paper, then add or subtract the different, from what you have currently. P.S. don't forget to press "Store Memory" once finished altering the Z - offset.
