I designed these custom brackets inspired by Wombot's official updated X-axis brackets, but scaled them up and adjusted the hole for the trapezoidal nut to ensure it centers perfectly within the hole when the gantry is homed at the bottom. The original brackets caused issues with print defects on my printer due to the trapezoidal nut being pushed against the side of the hole. To resolve this, I simplified the design by removing excess fastener holes and retaining only one for the capscrew that holds the nut in place under the gantry. Additionally, I added a small recess or scallop where the extruder carriage screws were previously interfering with the stock X-axis brackets, eliminating any further issues. These custom brackets are designed to be used in conjunction with my Z-axis motor brackets.
