Creating stunning works of art in Virtual Reality daily for The Sabby Life's #VRArtLive challenge. Today marks Day 45 out of a total of 365, with the theme "Fabulous Fashions" taking center stage. This artwork was exported straight from Tilt Brush on my Oculus Quest 2 to Sketchfab without any intermediate steps. Unfortunately, two of the transparent brushes lost their transparency during the export process (I had been warned but forgot to adjust accordingly); however, the Diamond Hull Brush surprisingly got converted into a solid, and while the dot chain on the woman's purse did lose some of its shiny detail, you can still see the individual dots if you zoom in closely. Receiving my Oculus Quest 2 as a Christmas gift from my husband opened my eyes to the vast potential of Virtual Reality art. As a writer and illustrator of children's books for Simon & Schuster, I'm already seeing how these VR doodles are inspiring me to push the boundaries of traditional 2D art and explore new possibilities in the process.
