I redesigned the files to give them a sharp edge. To achieve this, I sanded down the prints to mimic the feel of a blade and then applied a coat of paint. This approach worked well for me as it allowed me to build up thick layers, providing enough material to smooth out before moving on to the next layer. A layer thickness of 0.3 mm proved effective in this regard. Additionally, I adjusted my printer settings so that the top and bottom solid layers make up a significant portion of the total layer count, eliminating any infill grid patterns. This ensured that the final product required 100% solid printing to sand properly.
