The Wolftooth B-RAD mounting systems are used to provide offset mounting locations for bottle cages on bike frames and forks. They are available in different lengths: https://www.wolftoothcomponents.com/collections/b-rad-system These pads are designed to support the non-bolted end of the mounts when attached to carbon fork blades. I designed them for a Norco Search XR, where I used the B-RAD mounts to attach the bottle mounts lower on the fork blades. This prevented 1L bottles from hitting the downtube when steering. The pads serve the following functions: - Provide a more precise and robust shim for the non-bolted end of the B-RAD mounts than the provided foam tape. - They click into the slot in the mount and cannot slip out - They include a cable tie channel to better distribute the clamping forces around a carbon fork blade. Two versions are provided for the left and right fork blades. The right version includes a cutout for the bump created by the brake mounting bosses. Installation instructions: - Place a strip of electrical tape on the fork blade for abrasion protection - Click the pad into the slot in the B-RAD mount - Bolt the mount on and position it correctly. - Lock the pad on by wrapping a cable tie around the entire fork leg and lock it into the channel - Mount the bottle cage.
