Wolftooth B-RAD system mounting pad for carbon fork blades

The Wolftooth B-RAD mounting systems offer offset mounting locations for bottle cages on bike frames and forks, providing flexibility in terms of positioning. Available in various lengths at https://www.wolftoothcomponents.com/collections/b-rad-system. These pads are specifically designed to support the non-bolted end of mounts when attached to carbon fork blades. Initially created for a Norco Search XR, they were used to lower bottle mounts on the fork blades, preventing 1L bottles from hitting the downtube during steering. The Wolftooth Pads serve several purposes: - They offer a more precise and robust shim than the provided foam tape for the non-bolted end of B-RAD mounts. - They click into the slot in the mount and cannot slip out due to their design. - They feature a cable tie channel that better distributes clamping forces around carbon fork blades. Two versions are available, one for each side of the fork blade. The right version includes a cutout for brake mounting bosses. Installation is straightforward: - Apply electrical tape on the fork blade for abrasion protection. - Click the pad into the slot in the B-RAD mount. - Secure the mount by bolting it on and positioning it correctly. - Lock the pad in place by wrapping a cable tie around the entire fork leg and securing it in the channel. - Mount the bottle cage securely.
