WOLFTEK QC15 headphone shells (for Bose QuietComfort 15)
thingiverse
UPDATE 10.11.2017: I made significant improvements to the shells, which should now fit even better. The knob hole is positioned more accurately, and I reinforced the inner screw holes for added strength. ORIGINAL SUMMARY: I never liked the standard QC15 Shells; they made the headphones look dated and unattractive. In search of custom shells on various 3D platforms, I came up empty-handed, so I took matters into my own hands and created these custom designs myself. Although they fit well, there's still room for improvement - this is my first 3D design project, and I'm not a seasoned CAD user, so please excuse any mistakes. To give them a unique look, I opted for a 3D honeycomb pattern. I printed the shells on a Tevo Tarantula with a 0.4mm nozzle, but you might achieve even better results with a finer nozzle or a more advanced printer. I'm working on releasing additional designs for the shells, so you won't be limited to just one look - the honeycomb style is only the beginning.
