Here is a cylindrical lithophane of a Woezel en Pip photo with a circular base plate made from circles. The inner diameter of the central ring is 24mm, but there's enough material around it to drill it larger if needed. This base plate can also be used for other lithophanes and has a 100mm outer diameter - you can also scale it to fit your needs. You can create your own here: http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/. The real magic happens when light shines through it, creating an amazing effect. You can even print photos using this method! I added a cylinder to dim the light, as my daughter couldn't sleep due to its brightness. To achieve this effect, simply print with no infill, no top or bottom plate, and adjust the wall thickness depending on your filament color and desired level of darkness - choose from 1-4 lines for optimal results.
