Inspired by lunar rover wheel design, these absorbing structures utilize the same principles as their predecessors. ABS flexibility serves as the key absorber in this innovative structure. To successfully attach your nuts to Z-threaded rods, it's crucial to secure the upper nut with glue and a small lid, while employing a common spring nut system inside. Initially, I encountered some issues with part fragility during printing; however, I've since made necessary improvements that significantly enhance overall performance. When you're slicing this design, don't hesitate to rotate the part – it may prove useful in ensuring a smooth print job. Before you finalize your print run, take note of the ABS spring system's durability, as excessive fatigue may cause breakage over time. Further testing is needed to guarantee long-term stability.
