Wobbler - a Delta Printer Damper
thingiverse
Got a delta printer? Heard a bit of damping is a good idea or tired of perishing rubber bands? Wobbler is the printable solution to your needs. Print three wobbler.stl's and six wobbler_ring.stl's. Clip the rings to effector arms, then press-fit a wobbler into place - yes, it should be quite tight. Job done! I mount such devices close to the effector end but many suggest other positions or even doubling up. If confused, look at images for an idea of how parts go together. Mine are printed in PLA; ABS is probably a better choice, any old non-floppy filament should do. If you don't like your wobblers, leave the rings in place and use something else. That's all Folks! PS: If someone is annoying you, don't throw a wobbler - use a more effective missile!
