Use this kit to stiffen the main wing on the great WLToys F949 Cessna without adding much weight. To use it, just follow these steps: locate the printed struts as a guide for where to mount the base cups on the wing and body. Then, ensure they reach the cup and are positioned the same on each side, and secure them in place with low-temp hot glue. Apply a drop of hot glue on the tips of the struts as you insert them into the cups. The struts must not alter the resting dihedral angle of the wing for proper flight. You can substitute bamboo BBQ skewers for plastic struts, but there won't be much weight savings either way. This kit will enable more precise control of the aircraft during normal, climbing or diving maneuvers, and also add to the overall strength of the wing. I have updated this version with a revised strut cup angle and thicker struts for added support and stability.
