This brace is for a 40mm spur gear. Also includes a mount for an original bearing with adapter. You will also need to cut out the chassis plate. The gear will be flush with the chassis bottom. My setup is a 3650 4300kv brushless motor, 64t spur, 21t pinion gear, 85mm tires from a 1/10 scale buggy. Depending on your gears you will also need to modify your driveshaft... epoxy does the job :-) My esc is also very big and fits only next to the motor and my lipo is sitting on top of the brace. I have had to extend the body by 1.5 cm and it´s only mounted with velcro. No issues so far and it´s nice to have gearing options! By the way, i´m using gear lubricant for brushcutters / clearing saws (STIHL) in my differentials. Still running the original ones. Happy bashing :-)
