The new redesigned body offers: -Enhanced COG for better stability -Better dirt/snow protections -Air intakes for reducing motor heating -Allows larger diameter shocks mount -Possibility to mount 10mm LED's for night bashing -Improved crash resistance -Better look I wanted this to be almost 100% safe against dirt, sand and snow for extreme bashing and the actual model can be used everywhere without being worried that stuff could get inside. I tested the protections using the car on wet grass, wet dirt and sandish gravel, aswell as iced grass and snow. Water don't get inside if driving on wet, but anyway is not a boat model so water can still enter once surpassed the chassis plate height. To drive is extremely fun, now the steer have better response and the car don't flip at each turn, thing this car is famous to do normally. Assembly using glue between Nose, Hood and Roof parts, all other uses screws. I suggest to use larger screws than stock ones for shock towers and M3 x10 with nuts for tail. LED's are snapped into their holders or with minimal glueing, holders (rear ones only ) are glued by tail.
