WLtoys 10428 3-ch receiver with integrated light module
thingiverse
Hello. I added a light module to my receiver, LadyAda module 1455: https://www.adafruit.com/product/1455. The original receiver can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2862809. This is the original receiver with an addon module; all instructions are the same, so use an Arduino clone Pro Mini (The Simple), ensure to remove the reset switch), NRF24L01 module and AdaFruit 1455 module. See pictures for connection and assembly. I used Xloader software to upload; baud rate 57600: http://russemotto.com/xloader/. The firmware is a *.hex file. Programming the Pro Mini before soldering is recommended. Light outputs mapping below and on pictures: FH: front headlight, up to four white LEDs BFL: blinker front left BRL: blinker rear left BFR: blinker front right BRR: blinker rear right PR: 2x position rear and 2x rear brake light, combined function RL: 2x reversing light LED + terminal connects to any one of +5V. LED - terminal connects to any of the light outputs. Blinkers use the gear channel (three-state switch on a 10428 remote control radio). Classic servo channel assignment and bind procedure. The "Motherboard PCB" can be ordered here: https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/HbG4uvoM. Please note the Pro Mini is soldered "smd style" to the motherboard.
