The sky was falling, and it was going to fall right on top of me. I had just been hit by an acorn, a small one, but still, it could have been worse. If only that old owl would have told me the truth. But no, he just sat there with his wise eyes staring off into space. "The sky is falling," he said in his deep voice, and I believed him. Why wouldn't I? He was an owl, for goodness' sake! They're supposed to be wise. And that was it, my world came crashing down around me.
